Northamptonshire is a quaint and lovely place to live, I moved there about six months ago due to family reasons. I have been renovating the house on the weekends as I work Monday to Friday full-time in on office job.

The house has a lot of work to be done to it, but I love renovating so it’s not a problem. I’m currently looking at various window blinds in Northamptonshire. I told my husband I do not want curtains in any of the rooms only window blinds. I did not realise that there were so many different types of window blinds available – you really are spoilt for choice these days. I really like the wooden blinds, I think they would look fabulous in the kitchen. I’d like roman blinds in the bedrooms and vertical blinds in the reception and dining room.

In Northamptonshire there appears to be a lot of window blind retailers and manufacturers, which is a good thing for us as we do not have a car and can’t travel too far.

We are also having a brand new loft conversion at the end of the month and I’m hoping we have enough left in our budget to get some made to measure window blinds. Our neighbours’ Mr and Mrs Brand have just had a loft conversion and managed to get a good deal on some made to measure blinds in a Northamptonshire shop. I’m hoping that we can also find a bargain, as window blinds look so much better than chintzy curtains especially in a modern house.
